Tata Motors is hoping to beat its target year of 2030 and have 30 per cent of its portfolio comprising electric vehicles (EVs), according to Chairman N Chandrasekaran, who was speaking at the company's last annual general meeting (AGM) ahead if its demerger.

Air India on Monday said it will lease 12 more aircraft comprising both A320 neo and Boeing 777, which are expected to be inducted in its existing fleet in the first half of 2023. Tata Group-owned Air India has extended the deadline for non-flying staff to apply for the Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) till May 31. The deadline for applying for the VRS, which was announced in April, ended on April 30.
